The Sun is pretty amazing. Every hour, the sun strikes the earth with more power than the entire world consumes in a year.

That power gives life when it hits plants to help them grow and produce oxygen and when it hits water that evaporates into rain. It is, however, much less amazing when all that energy hits your skin.
